Id775Eh / 775Eh (653 13)

CLAAS Id775Eh / 775Eh (653 13) – Engine Control Module / ENG (A15): QR code non valid of the electronic injector of cylinder n°3

Issue description

The Engine Control Unit (ECU) requires a specific calibration code (QR code/trim code) for each individual fuel injector to know its exact fuel flow characteristics. This fault triggers when the ECU detects that the QR code programmed for cylinder #3 is invalid, missing, or does not match the expected format. As a result, the engine may run with difficulty, misfire, or experience degraded power due to the invalid calibration of the injector.

Applies to these machines

  • Axion 810
  • Axion 820
  • Axion 830
  • Axion 840
  • Axion 850
  • Axion 960
  • Arion 410
  • Arion 430
  • Arion 510
  • Arion 640
  • Jaguar

Check the cause

  1. Verify recent service history to check if the injector on cylinder #3 (Y320-3) or the Engine ECU (A15) was recently replaced or reprogrammed

  2. Inspect the physical injector on cylinder #3 and locate its printed QR code/trim code

  3. Connect a diagnostic tool and verify the injector calibration code currently stored in the ENG (A15) module for cylinder #3, comparing it against the physical code

  4. Verify the compatibility of the ECU program versions, settings, and calibration files

Repair steps

  1. Connect Diagnostic Equipment

Hook up a compatible diagnostic tool (such as CLAAS CDS or a heavy-duty scanner with injector coding capabilities) to the tractor's diagnostic port.

  2. Input Calibration Data

Navigate to the Engine ECU (A15) injector calibration/coding menu. Manually enter the correct QR code read from the cylinder #3 injector into the system.

  3. Save and Reset

Save the calibration. Some systems require a "Cylinder Balancing" reset or an adaptive factor reset after new trim codes are programmed.

  4. Replace Injector (If Necessary)

If the QR code is correct but the ECU continuously rejects it, or if the injector has failed internally, the electronic injector (Y320-3) must be replaced.

  5. Program New Injector

If a replacement is installed, you must program the new injector's unique QR code into the ECU.

  6. Clear Codes and Test

Clear the active Id775Eh / 653 13 fault code. Test run the tractor under load to ensure the engine runs smoothly without misfires and the code does not return.
