CLAAS Id7763h / 7763h (654 13) – ENG (A15): QR code non valid of the electronic injector of cylinder n°4
Issue description
The engine control module does not have a valid calibration code (QR code) programmed for the electronic fuel injector on cylinder #4. Because each injector has unique flow characteristics, the ECU requires this code to balance fuel delivery. Without it, the engine may run with difficulty, misfire, or operate in a degraded mode due to invalid calibration.

Check the cause
Verify the Engine Module (ENG A15) for any concurrent software or communication errors.
Check calibration data to verify the compatibility of program versions, settings, and calibration.
Inspect the connectors and continuity of the wiring harness linking the ENG (A15) module to the Y320-4 electronic injector for short-circuits, open circuits, or poor grounds.
Verify fuses, power supply, and ground connections to the engine module and injector circuit.
Repair steps
Retrieve the QR Code
Locate the electronic injector on cylinder #4. Read and write down the alphanumeric calibration QR code stamped directly on the injector body.
Reprogram the ECU
Connect the CLAAS diagnostic tool (CDS) to the tractor. Navigate to the engine control module (ENG A15) settings and input the correct QR code for cylinder #4. (Note: This code often appears if an injector was recently replaced but the technician forgot to program the new injector's code into the ECU).
Inspect/Replace Injector (If Necessary)
If the ECU refuses to accept the code, or if the injector has failed internally (which sometimes triggers concurrent codes like 654 05 for open circuit or 654 06 for short circuit), the injector (Y320-4) must be replaced.
Program New Injector
If a replacement is installed, you must program the new injector's QR code into the ENG (A15) module.
Clear and Test
Clear all error codes from the system. Start the tractor and perform a test run to ensure the engine runs smoothly and the anomaly does not reappear.
