Id77A2h / 77A2h (12)

CLAAS Id77A2h / 77A2h (12) – HYD (A60) - Hydraulic Module: "Configuration" message from valve 1 is not received or is improbable

Issue description

Indicates a communication or configuration error within the hydraulic system. Specifically, it means that the "Configuration" message from valve 1 is not received or is improbable. As a safety measure, the system forces electrodistributor 1 to return to neutral.

Applies to these machines

  • Axion 800 Series
  • Axion 810
  • Axion 850
  • Arion Series
  • Arion 410-430
  • Arion 510-640

Check the cause

  1. Hydraulic CAN Bus Network: Check the integrity of the CAN bus communication lines.

  2. Electrodistributor Module (A105-1): Inspect the module controlling valve 1.

  3. Hydraulic Module HYD (A60): Verify the main hydraulic controller is functioning.

  4. Harnesses & Connectors: Check the connectors and continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the HYD (A60) and A105-1 modules. Look for any short-circuits or open circuits.

  5. Power & Ground: Check the sources of energy (fuses, power supply, and ground connections) to the electrodistributor module.

  6. Software/Calibration: Check the compatibility of program versions, settings, and calibration.

Repair steps

  1. Analyze Codes

Note all error codes present on the tractor. Analyze the interaction between them, as a CAN bus failure or power supply issue can generate multiple codes. Identify if Id77A2h is the root anomaly.

  2. Visual Inspection

Inspect the wiring harness routing to electrodistributor 1 (A105-1) and the HYD (A60) module. Look for chafed wires, pinched cables, or water ingress in the connectors.

  3. Electrical Testing

Using a multimeter, test the CAN High and CAN Low lines on the Hydraulic CAN bus for proper resistance (typically 60 ohms across the network) and check for continuity between the A60 and A105-1 modules.

  4. Voltage Drop Test

Verify that the A105-1 electrodistributor module is receiving proper operating voltage and has a clean ground under load.

  5. Component Swap/Replacement

If the wiring, power, and CAN bus network are fully intact, the fault lies internally within the electrodistributor module (A105-1) failing to broadcast its configuration, or the HYD (A60) module failing to receive it. Replace the faulty module.

  6. Clear & Retest

Clear all error codes from the system. Operate the tractor's hydraulic valve 1 to confirm the anomaly does not reappear.

Parts you might need

(3)
  • Electrodistributor Module / Valve 1 (CCN: A105-1)

Generic part name: Electrohydraulic proportional valve / Electrodistributor.

  • Hydraulic Control Module (CCN: HYD A60)

The main ECU for the hydraulic system.

  • Wiring Harness / Connector Pigtails

For repairing damaged CAN bus or power lines to the A105-1 module.
