CLAAS Id77A9h / 77A9h (22) – HYD (A60): Supply voltage too high
Issue description
The system is detecting that the electrical voltage being supplied to the hydraulic electrodistributor module exceeds the maximum allowable threshold.
Applies to these machines
3 machines- Axion 850
- Axion 810
- Arion 430-410
Check the cause
Check the connectors and the continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the electrodistributor module to the HYD (A60) module
Check for any short-circuits (especially a short to a higher voltage source) or open circuits in the wiring
Check the sources of energy, including fuses, the main power supply line, and the ground connection
Verify the tractor's alternator output to ensure the voltage regulator has not failed and is not overcharging the entire system
Check the internal resistance of the electrodistributor module if required by the measurement files
Check the compatibility of the program versions, settings, and calibration of the hydraulic module
Repair steps
Document Codes
Note all error codes present on the tractor. Analyze the interaction between them, as an overvoltage issue from the alternator could generate multiple 'voltage too high' codes across different modules.
Isolate the Fault
Identify if the overvoltage is isolated to the A105-1 electrodistributor module circuit or if it is a system-wide charging issue.
Perform Measurements
Use a multimeter to test the voltage at the electrodistributor module power supply ("VALVE") pins.
Repair Wiring/Supply
If the voltage at the connector is too high due to a wiring short to another power wire, repair the harness. If the alternator is overcharging, replace the voltage regulator/alternator.
Replace Component
If the supply voltage is normal but the module internally faults and reports high voltage, replace the electrodistributor module (A105-1).
Clear and Retest
Clear all error codes from the HYD (A60) module, then operate the tractor's hydraulic functions to ensure the anomaly does not reappear.
Parts you might need
(3)Electrodistributor Module / Electrodistributor Unit
A105-1When ordering, you will need to reference the specific valve slice (e.g., Valve 1) on the hydraulic block, as the electrodistributor module mounts directly to the hydraulic valve stack.
