CLAAS Id77ACh / 77ACh (25) – HYD (A60): The drawer (spool) of hydraulic valve 1 cannot reach the floating position instruction

Because the valve cannot achieve the commanded float position, the system defaults to a safe state, and electrodistributor 1 automatically returns to neutral.

   Check the connectors and the continuity of the harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to the A105-1 electrodistributor for short-circuits or open circuits.

   Check the sources of energy (fuses, power supply, and ground) to ensure the valve is receiving adequate voltage.

   Check the component's operating conditions to ensure there is no mechanical seizing of the valve spool due to hydraulic oil contamination, extreme temperatures, or abnormal pressure.

   Check the electrical resistance of the valve's actuator/solenoid and verify its physical adjustment.

   Read and Record

   Note all error codes present on the tractor to ensure no other electrical faults (like low voltage codes) are causing this issue.

   Inspect the Valve

   Locate Valve 1 (Electrodistributor A105-1) on the rear hydraulic valve stack. Disconnect the electrical plug and inspect for pushed pins, moisture, or corrosion.

   Test Actuation

   If the wiring tests good, the issue is likely a mechanically seized spool or a failed position sensor inside the Danfoss actuator head.

   Replace Component

   If the spool is seized or the actuator has failed, replace the electrodistributor module / actuator head.

   Calibrate

   After replacing the valve or actuator, check if compatibility settings, program versions, or calibrations are required via the CLAAS diagnostic tool (CDS).

   Clear and Retest

   Clear all error codes and operate the tractor's hydraulics, specifically commanding Valve 1 into the float position, to verify the anomaly does not return.
