CLAAS Id77BBh / 77BBh (16) – HYD (A60): EEPROM on valve 2 faulty

The internal memory (EEPROM) of the electrodistributor valve 2 has failed or is corrupted. As a safety measure, Electrodistributor 2 stays at neutral upon initialization and becomes inactive.

   Check the connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to the electrodistributor module (A105-2)

   Check for any short-circuits or open circuits in the CAN bus and power lines

   Check the sources of energy (fuses, 12V supply, and ground) to the valve block

   Note all error codes present on the tractor and analyze if a broader CAN bus or voltage supply error (e.g., Id77BDh) is triggering the EEPROM fault as a secondary symptom

   Power Down & Isolate

   Turn off the tractor, engage the parking brake, and relieve all hydraulic pressure from the system.

   Inspect Wiring

   Locate the electrodistributor module (A105-2) on the hydraulic valve stack. Disconnect the electrical plug and inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or pushed-out terminals.

   Test Voltages

   Turn the ignition ON (engine off) and verify that the valve is receiving proper operating voltage and ground.

   Replace the Module

   Because the fault specifically designates an "EEPROM faulty" condition, this is an internal electronic failure of the valve's logic board. If wiring and voltage are good, the electrodistributor module (A105-2) slice must be replaced.

   Reassemble & Bleed

   Install the new electrodistributor valve slice, torque the tie rods to the manufacturer's specification, and reconnect the electrical harness.

   Clear Codes & Initialize

   Connect the CLAAS diagnostic tool, clear all stored error codes (including Id77BBh), and restart the tractor.

   Test

   Operate the hydraulic remote to ensure the valve initializes properly and no longer defaults to neutral.
