CLAAS Id77C5h / 77C5h (41) – HYD (A60): The power supply of valve 2 is too high (> 42 V)
Issue description
As a safety measure, the system forces electrodistributor 2 to return to the neutral position, rendering that specific hydraulic circuit inactive.
Applies to these machines
6 machines- Axion 800 series
- Axion 810
- Axion 820
- Axion 830
- Axion 840
- Axion 850
Check the cause
Check the connectors and the continuity of the harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to the A105-2 electrodistributor.
Check for any short-circuits (especially to a higher voltage source) or open circuits in the wiring.
Check the sources of energy, including fuses, power supply lines, and grounds.
Check the internal resistance of the A105-2 component.
Repair steps
Verify the Code
Note the error codes present on the CEBIS panel or via the METADIAG diagnostic tool to confirm Id77C5h is the primary fault.
Inspect Wiring
Physically inspect the wiring harness leading to hydraulic valve 2 (A105-2) at the rear hydraulic block. Look for chafed wires, pinched harnesses, or water ingress in the connector.
Test Voltage
Disconnect the A105-2 valve and test the supply voltage at the harness side with a multimeter.
Clean and Reseat
If the voltage is normal (approx. 12V), clean the connector pins with contact cleaner, apply dielectric grease, and reconnect.
Replace the Valve
If the wiring is intact and the supply voltage is correct, the internal driver/sensor of the electrodistributor module is faulty and the valve head must be replaced.
Clear and Retest
Clear all error codes from the HYD module and operate the tractor's hydraulic valve 2 to ensure the anomaly does not return.
