CLAAS Id77CCh / 77CCh (12) – HYD (A60) - Hydraulic module: "Configuration" message from valve 3 is not received or is improbable

Issue description

The "Configuration" message from valve 3 is not received or is improbable. As a safety measure, the system forces electrodistributor 3 to return to neutral.

Applies to these machines

  • Axion 800 series
  • Axion 810
  • Axion 820
  • Axion 830
  • Axion 840
  • Axion 850

Check the cause

  1. Check the Hydraulic CAN Bus Network for communication faults

  2. Check the connectors and the continuity of the harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module and the electrodistributor module (A105-3)

  3. Check for any short-circuits or open circuits in the wiring

  4. Check the sources of energy (fuses, supply voltage, and ground connections) to the electrodistributor module

  5. Check the compatibility of program versions, settings, and calibration if recent updates were made

Repair steps

  1. Document Codes

Note all error codes present on the tractor and analyze their interaction, as one code can generate another.

  2. Visual Inspection

Inspect the wiring harness and connectors on the Hydraulic CAN bus network, specifically routing to valve 3 (A105-3). Look for pushed pins, corrosion, or chafed wires.

  3. Electrical Testing

Using a multimeter, verify that the electrodistributor module (A105-3) is receiving proper supply voltage and has a solid ground. Test the CAN High and CAN Low lines for proper resistance and continuity back to the HYD (A60) module.

  4. Component Isolation

If the wiring, power, and ground are all within specification, the fault is internal to the electrodistributor module (A105-3) or, less likely, the HYD (A60) module.

  5. Replacement

Replace the faulty electrodistributor valve 3.

  6. Clear and Retest

Clear all error codes from the system memory. Operate the tractor's hydraulic functions to ensure the anomaly does not appear again and that valve 3 operates normally without returning to neutral.

Parts you might need

(2)
  • Electrodistributor Module (Valve 3) / Hydraulic Lift Valve

Varies by specific valve slice configuration. Applies to the A105-3 position on the hydraulic valve stack.

  • Hydraulic Module (HYD A60) / Hydraulic Control Unit / ECU

Only replace if the valve and wiring are confirmed good but the CAN configuration message is still not being processed.
