CLAAS Id77CDh / 77CDh (13) – HYD (A60) - Hydraulic Module: Instruction message from valve 3 is not in the right format
Issue description
The "Instruction" message from valve 3 is not in the right format, causing electrodistributor 3 (Valve 3) to automatically return to neutral as a safety response.
Applies to these machines
6 machines- Axion 800 series
- Axion 810
- Axion 820
- Axion 830
- Axion 840
- Axion 850
Check the cause
Check the Hydraulic CAN bus network for integrity
Check the connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module and the electrodistributor module (A105-3)
Check for any short-circuits or open circuits in the wiring
Check the sources of energy (fuses, power supply voltage, and ground connections) for the electrodistributor module
Check the compatibility of program versions, settings, and calibration between the modules
Repair steps
Document Codes
Note all error codes present on the tractor to analyze any interaction (as one error code can generate another).
Inspect Harness
Physically inspect the wiring harness running to Valve 3 (Electrodistributor A105-3) and the HYD A60 module. Look for chafed wires, bent pins, or corrosion in the connectors.
Test Voltages
Using a multimeter, verify that the electrodistributor module is receiving the correct operating voltage and has a solid ground.
Test CAN Communication
Verify the CAN bus lines for proper resistance and voltage to ensure messages can be formatted and sent correctly.
Replace Component
If the wiring, power, and software calibrations are all correct, the fault lies within the hardware. Replace the faulty component (most likely the Electrodistributor module A105-3, or in rarer cases, the HYD A60 module).
Clear & Retest
Clear all error codes from the system, then operate the tractor's hydraulic functions to ensure the anomaly does not appear again.
