CLAAS Id77D0h / 77D0h (16) – HYD (A60) - Hydraulic Module: EEPROM on valve 3 faulty.

The EEPROM inside the electronic head of hydraulic valve 3 has failed, become corrupted, or lost communication. Electrodistributor 3 is forced to stay in the 'neutral' position upon initialization and will remain inactive.

   Clear all error codes using the CLAAS METADIAG / CDS diagnostic tool, then restart the tractor and operate the hydraulics to see if the anomaly returns (to rule out a temporary voltage drop or CAN-bus glitch).

   Check the connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to the A105-3 electrodistributor. Look for pushed-out pins, moisture, or oxidation.

   Test the wiring for short-circuits to ground or open circuits.

   Verify the sources of energy (fuses, supply voltage, and ground) reaching the valve module.

   Verify the compatibility of the program versions, settings, and calibration of the hydraulic module.

   Depressurize

   Turn off the tractor engine, lower all implements, and relieve hydraulic pressure in the system.

   Locate Valve 3

   Locate the rear hydraulic remote valve block and identify electrodistributor 3 (A105-3).

   Disconnect

   Carefully unplug the electrical harness from the valve head.

   Remove the Valve Head

   Unbolt and remove the faulty electro-hydraulic valve head (actuator) from the mechanical spool valve body.

   Install Replacement

   Mount the new or remanufactured electrodistributor module (A105-3) onto the valve body and torque the mounting bolts to OEM spec.

   Reconnect & Calibrate

   Reconnect the electrical harness. Connect the CLAAS METADIAG / CDS diagnostic tool to the tractor. You must clear the old fault codes and perform a valve calibration/initialization routine so the HYD (A60) ECU can recognize the new EEPROM and learn the valve's neutral, minimum, and maximum flow positions.
