CLAAS Id77E0h / 77E0h (11) – HYD (A60): "Instruction" message of valve 4 is not received or is improbable
Issue description
The "Instruction" message of valve 4 is not received or is improbable. As a safety measure, electrodistributor 4 (Valve 4) is forced to return to the neutral position.
Applies to these machines
6 machines- Axion 800 series
- Axion 810
- Axion 820
- Axion 830
- Axion 840
- Axion 850
Check the cause
Check the communication lines for the hydraulic CAN bus network
Check the connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to the electrodistributor module (A105-4)
Test for any short-circuits or open circuits in the wiring
Check the sources of energy, including fuses, power supply voltage, and ground connections to the valve
Check the electrodistributor's operating conditions (e.g., mechanical seizing, pressure, temperature)
Repair steps
Document Codes
Note all error codes present on the tractor, as CAN bus errors can sometimes cascade and generate secondary codes.
Inspect Connections
Locate the electrodistributor module (A105-4) for Valve 4. Disconnect the harness and inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or pushed-out terminals. Reconnect securely.
Test the CAN Bus
Using a multimeter or oscilloscope, verify the integrity of the Hydraulic CAN bus network between the HYD (A60) module and the A105-4 valve module.
Verify Power/Ground
Ensure the valve is receiving proper operating voltage and has a clean ground.
Replace/Swap Component
If the wiring, power, and CAN signals are intact but the "Instruction" message is still not being received, the electrodistributor module (A105-4) itself has likely failed internally and must be replaced.
Clear and Retest
Clear all error codes from the system, restart the tractor, and operate the hydraulic remote for Valve 4 to ensure the anomaly does not return.
Parts you might need
(2)Electrodistributor Module / Hydraulic Remote Control Valve (Valve 4 / A105-4)
00 1164 149 0When replacing an electrodistributor valve on the CAN bus network, the new valve may require calibration or configuration via the CLAAS diagnostic tool (CDS) so the HYD (A60) module recognizes it on the network.
