CLAAS Id77FDh / 77FDh (22) – HYD (A60): Supply voltage too high
Issue description
The system has detected that the electrical supply voltage feeding the hydraulic valve 5 electrodistributor is exceeding the acceptable threshold.
Applies to these machines
5 machines- Axion 810
- Axion 820
- Axion 830
- Axion 840
- Axion 850
Check the cause
Check the connectors and the continuity of the harnesses linking the electrodistributor module (A105-5) to the HYD (A60) module
Check for any short-circuits (especially to a higher voltage source) or open circuits
Check the sources of energy, including fuses, main power supply, and ground connections to the valve
Check the component's operating conditions (e.g., pressure, temperature, mechanical seizing)
Check the compatibility of the program versions, settings, and calibration
Repair steps
Document Codes
Note all error codes present on the tractor and analyze their interaction to ensure Id77FDh is the root cause (an overcharging alternator, for example, could cause multiple 'voltage too high' codes across different modules).
Inspect Wiring
Visually inspect the wiring harness leading to the electrodistributor module (A105-5) at the rear hydraulic valve stack. Look for chafed wires that might be shorting to a 12V/24V power source.
Test Voltage
Use a multimeter to measure the supply voltage directly at the A105-5 connector while the tractor is running. If the voltage is within normal operating range (typically 12-14V) but the module reports it as 'too high,' the module's internal circuitry is likely faulty.
Replace Component
If the wiring, grounds, and system voltage are confirmed good, replace the electrodistributor module (A105-5).
Clear & Retest
Clear all error codes using the diagnostic tool, then operate the tractor's hydraulics to ensure the anomaly does not return.
