CLAAS Id77FFh / 77FFh (24) – HYD (A60): The valve 5 drawer has exceeded the instruction.

The internal spool (drawer) of the number 5 electro-hydraulic remote valve has traveled further than the position commanded by the control system. As a safety and operational precaution, the system forces electrodistributor 5 to return to the neutral position.

   Check the connectors and the continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to the A105-5 electrodistributor

   Check for any short-circuits or open circuits in the wiring

   Check the sources of energy, including fuses, power supply voltage, and ground connections

   Check the electrical resistance of the electrodistributor actuator

   Check the component's operating conditions to ensure there is no mechanical seizing of the valve drawer/spool, and verify operating pressure and temperature

   Document Codes

   Note all error codes present on the tractor (via the CEBIS terminal or diagnostic tool) to see if a voltage or CAN bus error is causing the valve fault.

   Isolate Valve 5

   Locate electrodistributor module 5 (A105-5) on the rear hydraulic valve stack.

   Inspect and Clean

   Disconnect the electrical plug to the Danfoss actuator on valve 5. Clean the contacts and inspect for pushed pins or moisture intrusion.

   Test Actuator/Spool

   If the wiring tests good, the fault is likely a mechanically sticking spool or a failed position sensor inside the actuator head.

   Replace Component

   If the spool is seized or the actuator has failed, replace the electrodistributor actuator head or the complete valve slice.

   Clear and Retest

   Clear all error codes from the HYD module memory. Operate the tractor and cycle valve 5 to ensure the anomaly does not reappear.
