CLAAS Id7803h / 7803h (32) – HYD (A60): Power supply of valve 5 is too high (> 36 V)
Issue description
Fault code Id7803h (32) indicates that the power supply of valve 5 is too high (> 36 V). As a safety and system protection measure, the system response to this condition is that electrodistributor 5 is forced to return to neutral.

Check the cause
Directly inspect the electrodistributor module (A105-5)
Check the connectors and the continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to the A105-5 valve
Test the wiring for any short-circuits (especially short-to-power that could cause a >36V reading) or open circuits
Check the sources of energy, including fuses, the main power supply, and ground connections to the valve
Check the internal resistance of the electrodistributor module if required by the measurement files
Verify the component's operating conditions, checking for mechanical seizing, excessive temperature, or abnormal pressure
Repair steps
Document Codes
Note all error codes present on the tractor. Analyze the interaction between them, as a main power surge or alternator overcharging could generate multiple high-voltage codes across different modules.
Test Voltage
Using a multimeter, probe the power supply pins at the connector for electrodistributor valve 5 (A105-5). Verify if the voltage is actually exceeding 36V.
Isolate the Fault
If the harness voltage is normal (standard system voltage) but the HYD module still reports >36V, the internal sensor/circuitry of the electrodistributor module (A105-5) has failed. If the harness voltage is actually >36V, trace the wiring back to the power supply/alternator to repair the short-to-power or voltage regulation issue.
Replace Component
If the electrodistributor module (A105-5) is internally shorted or faulty, replace it.
Calibrate
Check if compatibility settings, program versions, or calibrations are required for the new valve.
Clear and Retest
Clear all error codes from the HYD (A60) module, then operate the tractor's hydraulic functions to ensure the anomaly does not reappear.
Parts you might need
(1)Electrodistributor Module (Valve 5) / Hydraulic Spool Valve
Sauer-Danfoss. Ensure the replacement slice matches the specific position (Valve 5) as calibration and flow rates may differ depending on the spool's intended function.
