CLAAS Id7806h / 7806h (43) – HYD (A60): Position sensor of valve 5 (internal) is faulty

Fault code Id7806h (43) indicates that the position sensor of valve 5 (internal) is faulty, with the system suspecting a probable open circuit. As a safety and system response, the electrodistributor 5 automatically returns to its neutral position.

   Check the connectors and the continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to the electrodistributor module (A105-5)

   Test Continuity

   Using a multimeter, test the continuity between the A105-5 connector and the HYD (A60) module to rule out a broken wire.

   Ensure the valve is receiving proper operating voltage and has a solid ground.

   Replace Valve

   Because the position sensor is internal to the valve, if the wiring, power, and ground are all intact, the internal sensor has failed. You must replace the entire electrodistributor module (spool valve 5 assembly).

   Clear all error codes from the system. Operate the tractor and actuate valve 5 to ensure the code does not return and the valve no longer defaults to neutral.
