CLAAS Id7810h / 7810h – Hydraulic Module HYD (A60): Voltage of the signal of front lifting external high controls.
Issue description
The system is detecting an incorrect or out-of-range voltage signal coming from the front lifting external control (down) switch. As a safety precaution, the front external lifting controls are rendered inactive by the system.
Applies to these machines
7 machines- Axion 800
- Axion 810
- Axion 830
- Axion 840
- Axion 850
- Axion 920
- Axion 950
Check the cause
Verify the front lifting external control (down) switch (U59-2)
Verify the Hydraulic module HYD (A60)
Inspect the connectors and test the continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the U59-2 switch to the A60 module
Check the circuit for any short-circuits (to ground or 12V) or open circuits
Check the sources of energy, including fuses, power supply voltage, and ground connections to the switch
Check the internal resistance of the U59-2 switch to ensure it is operating within specification
Repair steps
Document the Code
Note the error code (Id7810h) and verify the physical symptom (front external lifting controls are inactive).
Inspect Wiring
Visually inspect the wiring harness running to the front of the tractor where the external lifting controls are located. Look for pinched wires, corrosion, or moisture in the connectors.
Test the Switch (U59-2)
Using a multimeter, test the front lifting external control (down) switch for proper operation and resistance.
Repair/Replace
If the wiring is damaged, repair the harness. If the switch fails the resistance/continuity test, replace the U59-2 switch.
Clear and Retest
Clear all error codes from the system using a diagnostic tool (like the CLAAS Cebis terminal or Jaltest). Operate the tractor and test the front external lifting controls to ensure the anomaly does not reappear.
