CLAAS Id7813h / 7813h – HYD (A60): Voltage too low from rear left contact of electrodistributor

The system detects that the voltage of the signal from the rear left contact of the electrodistributor on the left fender is too low (exit signal), rendering the rear external controls of the hydraulic distributor inactive.

   Check Component U56-2: Inspect the rear left contact switch of the electrodistributor (solenoid valve out) located on the rear left fender.

   Check the HYD (A60) Module: Verify the condition of the hydraulic module itself.

   Wiring & Harness Continuity: Check the connectors and the continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the U56-2 fender switch to the HYD (A60) module.

   Circuit Testing: Test the circuit for any short-circuits to ground or open circuits.

   Power & Ground: Check the sources of energy (fuses, power supply, and ground connections) for the switch and the module.

   Component Resistance: Check the internal resistance of the U56-2 switch to ensure it is operating within specification.

   Verify the Fault

   Note the error code on the CEBIS terminal and confirm that the rear external hydraulic controls on the left fender are inactive.

   Inspect the Switch (U56-2)

   Locate the external hydraulic control switch on the rear left fender. Disconnect the switch and inspect the connector pins for dirt, corrosion, or moisture ingress, which commonly causes low voltage signals.

   Test the Wiring

   Using a multimeter, test the wiring harness between the U56-2 switch and the HYD (A60) module. Look for continuity issues, chafed wires causing a short to ground, or broken wires causing an open circuit. Repair any damaged wiring.

   Test the Switch

   Test the U56-2 switch for proper resistance when actuated. If the switch fails the resistance test or is physically damaged, it must be replaced.

   Check Module Connections

   If the switch and wiring are intact, inspect the multi-pin connectors at the HYD (A60) module for pushed-out pins or corrosion.

   Clear Codes and Test

   After repairing the wiring or replacing the switch, clear all error codes from the system. Operate the tractor and test the rear external hydraulic controls to confirm the anomaly does not reappear.
