CLAAS Id7837h / 7837h – HYD (A60): The 8 valve is no longer detected.

The system has detected that hydraulic valve 8 is either faulty or disconnected. The system will display the error code and prompt the operator to view the appropriate valve in the "Cebis" terminal. The tractor will return to normal mode once the message is received and acknowledged.

   Verify the error code and view the status of Valve 8 directly in the Cebis terminal

   Check the connectors and the continuity of the wiring harnesses linking hydraulic valve 8 to the HYD (A60) module

   Test the circuit for any short-circuits to 12V, short-circuits to ground, or open circuits in the wiring

4. 4

   Verify the sources of energy (fuses, power supply, and ground) reaching the valve

   Check the electrical resistance of the valve's solenoid

   Ensure there are no communication frame errors on the CLAAS vehicle CAN bus network or the Hydraulic CAN bus

   Identify

   Note the error codes present on the tractor and analyze if any other codes are generating this anomaly (e.g., CAN bus communication errors).

   Inspect

   Physically locate hydraulic valve 8 on the rear remote valve stack. Inspect the wiring pigtail and the solenoid connector for dirt, corrosion, or physical damage.

   Test

   Use a multimeter to test the resistance of the solenoid coil. If the coil is open (infinite resistance) or shorted, the solenoid/valve is faulty.

   Replace

   If the wiring and power supply are intact but the valve is still not detected, replace the faulty hydraulic valve or its solenoid.

   Clear & Retest

   Clear all error codes using the METADIAG diagnostic tool or the Cebis terminal. Operate the tractor's hydraulics to ensure the anomaly does not reappear.
