CLAAS Id783Ah / 783Ah – HYD (A60) - Hydraulic Module: Hydraulic Valve 2 is disconnected or unavailable

When this fault is triggered, the CLAAS Sequence Management (CSM) sequence is locked. The system will automatically attempt to relaunch the CSM sequence after 20 seconds.

   Wait 20 Seconds: The system will attempt to relaunch the CSM sequence automatically. If nothing happens, you must manually reset the CSM.

   Harness & Connector Inspection: Check the connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to Hydraulic Valve 2.

   Circuit Testing: Test the circuit for any short-circuits to ground/power or open circuits.

   Resistance Testing: Check the resistance of the Valve 2 solenoid to ensure it has not failed internally.

   Power & Ground: Verify the sources of energy (fuses, power supply, and ground) to the hydraulic module and the valve.

   Reset the CSM

   If the sequence remains locked after 20 seconds, perform a manual reset of the CLAAS Sequence Management (CSM) system.

   Inspect Wiring

   Locate Hydraulic Valve 2 on the rear hydraulic distributor block. Disconnect the harness and inspect the pins for corrosion, pushed-out pins, or moisture ingress.

   Test the Solenoid

   Using a multimeter, measure the resistance across the pins of the Valve 2 solenoid. If the resistance is out of specification (indicating an open or shorted coil), the valve/solenoid must be replaced.

   Repair Wiring

   If the solenoid tests good, trace the wiring back to the HYD (A60) module. Repair any broken wires or replace damaged connector pigtails.

   Clear Codes and Retest

   After repairing the wiring or replacing the valve, clear all error codes from the system. Operate the tractor's hydraulics and CSM to ensure the anomaly does not reappear.
