CLAAS Id7843h / 7843h – HYD (A60) Hydraulic Module: Communication drop with hydraulic output 1
Issue description
The HYD (A60) module has detected a communication drop with hydraulic output 1. When this occurs, the sequence is stopped and recorded in the EEPROM. The system will wait for the sequence to be relaunched or reset.
Applies to these machines
10 machines- AXION 810
- AXION 830
- AXION 840
- AXION 850
- AXION 920
- AXION 930
- AXION 940
- AXION 950
- ARION 500 series
- ARION 600 series
Check the cause
Ensure the HYD (A60) module is receiving power and communicating on the CAN bus
Inspect the electrical wiring harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to the hydraulic output 1 valve
Inspect the electro-hydraulic valve (electrodistributor) for hydraulic output 1
Repair steps
Inspect Connectors and Continuity
Check the connectors and the continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to the hydraulic output 1 valve.
Check for Circuit Damage
Test the wiring for any short-circuits to ground/power or open circuits.
Test the Component
Check the resistance of the hydraulic output 1 solenoid/valve.
Verify Power Sources
Check the sources of energy, including fuses, power supply, and ground connections to the A60 module and the valve.
Check Operating Conditions
Inspect the valve for mechanical seizing, excessive temperature, or abnormal pressure conditions.
Reset and Retest
If a wiring fault is found and repaired, or a component is replaced, clear all error codes from the system. Try operating the tractor's hydraulic output 1 again to verify if the anomaly returns. If the sequence is locked, reset the CLAAS Sequence Management (CSM).
