CLAAS Id7845h / 7845h – HYD (A60) - Hydraulic Control Module: Communication drop with hydraulic output 2 (Valve 2)

The system detects that the control module has lost communication with this specific hydraulic spool valve, causing the CLAAS Sequence Management (CSM) to stop the current sequence and record the event in the EEPROM.

   Verify the physical condition of the HYD (A60) module and the hydraulic output 2 valve.

   Check the connectors and the continuity of the wiring harness linking the HYD (A60) module to Valve 2.

   Test the wiring for any short-circuits to ground, short-circuits to 12V, or open circuits.

   Check the sources of energy, including fuses, main power supply, and ground connections to the module and valve.

   Measure the internal resistance of the hydraulic valve solenoid to ensure it is within spec.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to safely inspect the hydraulic electrical connections.

   Inspect Wiring

   Locate the wiring harness running from the HYD (A60) module to hydraulic output 2. Clean the connectors with contact cleaner and inspect for bent pins, corrosion, or wire chafing.

   Test the Valve

   If the wiring is intact, use a multimeter to test the resistance of the Valve 2 solenoid. If it reads as an open circuit or is out of specification, the valve/solenoid must be replaced.

   Replace Faulty Component

   Replace the damaged wiring harness or the faulty hydraulic spool valve as dictated by your multimeter tests.

   Relaunch Sequence / Reset CSM

   Reconnect the battery and turn on the tractor. Wait for the sequence to be relaunched. If the system remains locked, perform a manual reset of the CLAAS Sequence Management (CSM).

   Clear Codes

   Use the METADIAG diagnostic tool or the CEBIS terminal to clear the error codes. Test the tractor's hydraulic functions to ensure the anomaly does not reappear.
