CLAAS Id7846h / 7846h – HYD (A60): Valve 6 is disconnected from the CSM (CLAAS Sequence Management) because it is locked

Valve 6 becomes unavailable. The system will automatically attempt to relaunch the CSM sequence after 20 seconds.

   Wait 20 seconds to see if the CSM sequence successfully relaunches on its own.

   Check the connectors and continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to Valve 6.

   Test the circuit for any short-circuits or open circuits.

   Check the electrical resistance of Valve 6.

   Verify the sources of energy, including fuses, power supply voltage, and ground connections to the valve.

   Check the component's operating conditions to ensure the valve is not suffering from mechanical seizing, abnormal pressure, or extreme temperatures.

   Reset the CSM

   If the 20-second automatic relaunch fails, manually reset the CLAAS Sequence Management (CSM) system.

   Clear and Retest

   Clear the error codes from the system and operate the tractor to see if the anomaly reappears.

   Inspect Wiring

   If the code returns, physically inspect the wiring harness between the HYD (A60) module and the Valve 6 electro-hydraulic actuator for chafing, corrosion, or pin damage. Repair any damaged wiring.

   Replace the Valve/Actuator

   If the wiring, power, and ground are all within specification but the valve remains locked or unresponsive, the electro-hydraulic spool valve (Valve 6) or its actuator has failed internally and must be replaced.

   Final Calibration

   After replacing the valve, clear all error codes and run the tractor through a CSM sequence to verify the repair.
