CLAAS Id7848h / 7848h – HYD (A60): Valve 7 is disconnected from the CSM because it is locked

The system detects that the auxiliary hydraulic valve (Valve 7) is not responding to sequence commands, causing the CSM sequence to halt.

   Wait 20 seconds to see if the CSM sequence automatically relaunches

   Check the connectors and continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the HYD (A60) module to Valve 7

   Check for any short-circuits to 12V, short-circuits to ground, or open circuits on the Hydraulic CAN bus network

   Verify the sources of energy (fuses, power supply, and ground) to the valve

   Check the valve's physical operating conditions for mechanical seizing, abnormal pressure, or extreme temperatures

   Attempt Relaunch

   Wait 20 seconds for the CSM sequence to relaunch. If nothing happens, manually reset the CSM via the cab controls.

   Inspect Wiring

   Disconnect the harness at Valve 7 and the HYD (A60) module. Inspect the pins for corrosion, pushed-out terminals, or moisture. Repair any damaged wiring.

   Test Resistance

   Check the internal resistance of Valve 7's solenoid/actuator against OEM specifications.

   Replace the Valve

   If the wiring is intact and the valve is mechanically seized or has suffered an internal electronic failure (often accompanied by related codes like IdA103h or IdA111h), Valve 7 must be replaced.

   Clear and Calibrate

   After replacing the component, check the compatibility of program versions and settings. Clear all error codes from the HYD module and test the tractor's CSM functions to ensure the anomaly does not reappear.
