Id78A3h / 78A3h

CLAAS Id78A3h / 78A3h – EXT (A62): The version of the CSM sequence is not compatible.

Issue description

A saved CSM (CLAAS Sequence Management) sequence is incompatible with the current system parameters or software version. As a direct system response, the incompatible sequence is automatically cleared from the system's memory.

Applies to these machines

  • Axion 800
  • Axion 810
  • Axion 850
  • Axion 920
  • Axion 950
  • Arion 510
  • Arion 610
  • Arion 630
  • Arion 640

Check the cause

  1. Verify if the tractor's software (specifically the EXT module or display) was recently updated or flashed, as this often renders previously saved CSM sequences incompatible.

  2. Check the compatibility of the current program versions, settings, and calibrations across the CAN bus network.

Repair steps

  1. Acknowledge the code

The system has already taken the necessary corrective action by automatically clearing the incompatible sequence.

  2. Re-record the sequence

Drive the tractor (speed must exceed 1.5 km/h to initiate CSM functions) and manually re-record your desired headland management sequence using the CSM panel.

  3. Test the new sequence

Save and execute the newly recorded sequence to ensure it plays back without triggering the Id78A3h error.

  4. Software Update

If newly recorded sequences continue to flag as incompatible, connect the CLAAS diagnostic interface (CDS) and flash the EXT (A62) module and the CSM control panel to the latest compatible software versions.
