   Verify Engine Status: Confirm whether the operator is attempting to trigger or resume a CSM sequence with the ignition on but the engine off

   Check Engine Speed Data: If the engine is running but the code persists, verify engine RPM data on the dashboard/CIS to ensure the EXT (A62) module is receiving the 'engine running' signal

   CAN Bus Communication: Check the CLAAS vehicle CAN bus network to ensure the Engine Control Unit (ENG A15) is properly broadcasting engine status to the EXT (A62) module

   Engine Speed Sensors: Check the engine speed sensors (e.g., on the PTO clutch housing) for proper adjustment and signal output

   Operator Correction

   Start the tractor's engine before attempting to launch or resume a Claas Sequence Management (CSM) sequence. Clear the code and retest.

   Harness & Connector Inspection

   If the engine is running but the code remains active, inspect the wiring harnesses and connectors between the Engine ECU, the CAN bus communication module (BDG A103), and the EXT (A62) module for open circuits or short circuits.

   Sensor Testing

   Test the resistance and voltage of the engine speed sensors. Adjust the sensor gap or replace the sensor if it is failing to read engine RPM.
