   Check the CAN bus wiring harness connecting the EDC/EMR ECU to the tractor's main CAN bus network for breaks, chafing, or corrosion.

   Verify the CAN bus terminating resistors on the A013 circuit board (fuse board) to ensure the network has the correct resistance (typically 60 ohms).

   Ensure the ECU is receiving proper voltage and that the CAN bus power supply fuses on the A013 board are intact.

   Connect diagnostic tool

   Connect the tractor to the FENDIAS (Fendt Diagnostic System) or SERDIA (Deutz engine diagnostic software) via the diagnostic port.

   Reprogram ECU

   Perform an EOL (End-Of-Line) reprogramming of the EDC/EMR ECU.

   Clear fault codes

   Clear the fault codes and cycle the ignition.

   Test drive

   Test drive the tractor to verify that the A021/A022 bus fault does not return.

   Replace ECU
