Check the cause

  1. Check microfuses F040 and F041 on the A013 printed circuit board (fuse board) for blown elements

  2. Inspect the A013 fuse board for signs of burnt traces, corrosion, or damaged pins

  3. Inspect the CAN bus wiring harness between the A013 fuse board and the A004 control console for continuity, shorts to ground, or damaged connectors

Repair steps

  1. Power Down

Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during inspection.

  2. Access the Fuse Board

Locate the main fuse board (A013).

  3. Replace Fuses

Pull fuses F040 and F041. Test them with a multimeter. If blown, replace them with fuses of the exact same amperage rating.

  4. Test Operation

Reconnect the battery and turn the ignition on. If the console powers up and the code clears, the issue was a blown fuse.

  5. Inspect/Replace the A013 Board

If the fuses immediately blow again, or if the fuses were intact but the code persists, the A013 circuit board likely has an internal failure in the CAN power supply circuit. The board will need to be removed and either sent to a specialist for repair or replaced entirely.

  6. Inspect/Replace the A004 Console

If the A013 board is outputting the correct voltage but the console remains dead, the A004 control console itself has failed and requires replacement or remanufacturing.
