Fendt 0.0.17 – A001, A002: Front PTO Bus fault

The CAN bus communication for the Front Power Take-Off (PTO) has failed. The system flags this because the voltage/power supply for the CAN bus on the main circuit board has been interrupted.

   Locate the A013 Circuit Board: Access the tractor's main fuse and relay board (A013).

   Inspect Specific Fuses: Check the condition of fuses F040 and F041. These fuses protect the voltage supply for the CAN bus.

   Check Voltage Supply: Use a multimeter to verify that the CAN bus power supply circuit on the A013 board is receiving and outputting the correct voltage.

   Turn off the tractor and remove the key to ensure the electrical system is de-energized.

   Open the electrical panel to access the A013 fuse board.

   Pull fuses F040 and F041 and test them for continuity.

   If a fuse is blown: Replace it with a new fuse of the exact same amperage. Turn the tractor on to see if the fault clears.

   If the new fuse blows immediately: Trace the wiring harness from the A013 board to the front PTO controller, looking for chafed wires, pinched harnesses, or moisture in the connectors. Repair the damaged wiring.

   This indicates a short to ground in the CAN bus wiring harness leading to the Front PTO.

   If the fuses are good but the fault persists: The A013 circuit board itself may have an internal failure (burnt trace or failed solder joint) preventing power from reaching the CAN bus. The board will need to be tested by a dealer or replaced.
