Fendt 0.0.1A – A002 ECU (Enhanced Control Module / Transmission Control Module): A002, Y015, Y016, Y017, Y018, Y019 - ECU, enhanced control, electric auxiliary control valves bus fault

This code indicates a CAN bus communication failure between the enhanced control module and the electric auxiliary control valves (spool valves 1 through 5). When this fault is active, the tractor enters a restricted state where no auxiliary hydraulic functions are available and the display may go blank or show no functions.

   Check the A013 printed circuit board (microfuses board) for a loss of voltage supply to the CAN bus

   Inspect fuses F040 and F041 on the A013 board, which supply power to the CAN bus for the auxiliary valves

   Verify that the CAN bus is receiving proper voltage at the A013 circuit board using a multimeter

   Inspect the CAN bus wiring harness between the A002 Enhanced Control ECU and the Y015-Y019 spool valves for chafing, breaks, or loose connectors

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery before working on the electrical system.

   Fuse Replacement

   Access the A013 fuse board. If fuses F040 or F041 are blown, replace them with fuses of the exact same amperage rating.

   Clear and Retest

   Reconnect the battery, turn the ignition on, and check if the 0.0.1A code clears. If the fuse blows immediately again, there is a short to ground in the wiring harness or inside one of the spool valves.

   Isolate the Short

   Disconnect the electrical connectors at all five auxiliary control valves (Y015 through Y019). Replace the fuse and turn the key on. If the fuse does not blow, plug the valves in one by one until the fuse blows to identify the shorted valve.

   Harness Repair

   If the fuses are intact but the code persists, trace the CAN wiring from the A002 ECU to the valve block. Repair any broken wires or clean corroded pins at the connectors.

   Component Replacement

   If the wiring and power supply are verified as good, the fault lies internally within the A002 ECU or the CAN transceiver of the valve block, requiring replacement and subsequent EOL (End of Line) programming via FENDIAS/SERDIA dealer software.
