Check the cause
Verify the power supply for the CAN bus, typically routed through circuit board A013
Inspect fuses on circuit board A013 that protect the CAN bus lines (commonly F040, F041, and F047)
Inspect the CAN bus wiring harness connecting the tractor's main ECU to the Neumaier reversing system ECU for physical damage, corrosion, or loose connector pins
Use the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to check for CAN bus overruns or warnings, and attempt to communicate directly with the Neumaier ECU
Repair steps
Access fuse panel
Safely park the machine and turn off the ignition. Access the main fuse panel and circuit board A013.
Test and replace fuses
Test the fuses (F040, F041, F047) with a multimeter. Replace any blown fuses and re-test the system.
Inspect wiring harness
Inspect the wiring harness running to the Neumaier reverse drive facility. Look for pinched wires near the rotating operator seat/console mechanism, which is a common failure point.
Check and clean connectors
Check the connectors at the Neumaier ECU. Disconnect, clean with contact cleaner, and securely reconnect them to ensure there is no logic error caused by high resistance.
Clear fault codes
Clear the fault codes using the tractor's terminal or FENDIAS software.
Test system and replace ECU if necessary
Test the reversing system. If the fault code 0.0.1E returns immediately, the Neumaier ECU itself has likely suffered an internal failure and must be replaced.
Program new ECU
If a new ECU is installed, it may require EOL (End of Line) programming via FENDIAS to sync with the tractor's main enhanced control unit.
Parts you might need

Must be matched to the specific Vario series (e.g., 700 vs 900) and may require dealer EOL programming.
