   Verify the fault code on the tractor's multiple display or Varioterminal.

   Check for accompanying active bus faults (e.g., EDC/engine bus faults, transmission bus faults) that might be causing the A050 unit to lose communication.

   Connect Fendt's official diagnostic software (FENDIAS) to properly diagnose and delete stored codes.

   Connect diagnostic system

   Connect the tractor to the FENDIAS diagnostic system.

   Perform EOL programming

   Perform EOL (End-of-Line) programming on the A050 Basic Control Unit.

   Clear fault codes

   Clear the fault codes from the A050 memory using the diagnostic software.

   Test tractor

   Cycle the ignition and test the tractor to ensure the bus fault does not return.

   Remove control unit

   If EOL programming fails or the unit is unresponsive, remove the A050 control unit for bench-testing, repair, or replacement.
