00.1.55

Fendt 00.1.55 – 0000 - Overall system/tractor: B084 - Sensor, hydraulic oil level

Issue description

The system has detected a "Sensor faulty" or a "Signal fault". The hydraulic oil fill level is no longer monitored by the tractor's system, meaning the operator will not receive automated warnings if the hydraulic oil drops to dangerous levels.

Applies to these machines

  • 922 Vario COM III
  • 924 Vario COM III
  • 927 Vario COM III
  • 930 Vario COM III
  • 933 Vario COM III
  • 936 Vario COM III
  • Fendt 300 Vario series
  • Fendt 400 Vario series
  • Fendt 700 Vario series
  • Fendt 800 Vario series
  • Fendt 900 Vario series (including COM III and S4 generations)

Check the cause

  1. Manually check the hydraulic oil level using the sight glass or dipstick to ensure the tank is not actually empty

  2. Inspect the wiring harness and the electrical connector at the B084 sensor for breaks, corrosion, or loose pins

  3. Check for a 12V supply fault on the instrument panel circuit, as power delivery issues to the A007 panel can trigger false sensor faults

  4. Test the signal path from the B084 sensor back to the A007 Instrument panel to rule out a broken wire in the harness

Repair steps

  1. Park the tractor on a level surface, turn off the engine, and relieve any hydraulic pressure.

  2. Locate the B084 hydraulic oil level sensor.

It is mounted on the hydraulic oil reservoir/tank.

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.

  4. Unthread and remove the faulty sensor from the tank.

Have a catch pan ready for any minor oil spillage.

  5. Install the new hydraulic oil level sensor and tighten it to the OEM torque specification.

  6. Reconnect the electrical harness.

  7. Turn on the ignition and clear the stored fault code manually.

On the Fendt multiple display, call up the fault code and press the designated clear buttons (typically the Enter/ESC or arrow keys simultaneously, depending on your specific Vario terminal version) to delete it from the A007 fault memory.

  8. Verify that the hydraulic oil level is now correctly monitored on the instrument panel without triggering a new fault.
