  • 930 Vario COM III
  • 933 Vario COM III
  • 936 Vario COM III
  • Fendt 300 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 400 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 700 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 800 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 900 Vario (COM III) (Models 919, 922, 925, 927, 930, 933, 936)

Check the cause

  1. Perform a physical inspection of the 'Up' button on the left dashboard control panel to check if it is stuck, damaged, or lacks normal tactile feedback (indicating a collapsed internal microswitch).

  2. Consult the 'Instrument cluster' circuit diagram to locate the wiring harness connecting the left control panel (A037/A036) to the Instrument Cluster (A007).

  3. Check the harness and connectors for continuity, corrosion, or loose pins.

  4. Use the FENDIAS diagnostic software or the tractor's onboard diagnostic menu to monitor live button states. If other buttons register but the 'Up' button does not, the panel has likely failed internally.

Repair steps

  1. Disconnect Power

Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.

  2. Access the Panel

Remove the hatch cover and surrounding trim from the steering column/instrument panel to access the rear of the left dashboard control panel.

  3. Disconnect Harness

Unplug the electrical connector from the back of the A037/A036 control panel. Inspect the connector for any signs of moisture or pushed-out pins.

  4. Remove the Module

Unclip or unbolt the faulty left dashboard control panel from the dashboard housing.

  5. Install the New Part

Seat the replacement control panel into the dashboard and reconnect the electrical harness.

  6. Reassembly

Reinstall the steering column covers and dashboard trim.

  7. Clear Codes

Reconnect the battery, turn on the ignition, and use the tractor's terminal or FENDIAS tool to clear the stored 00.1.73 fault code.

  8. Test

Press the "Up" button to ensure proper functionality is restored.

Parts you might need

(1)
  • Control panel, dashboard left (Component A037 / A036)

Exact OEM part numbers are highly dependent on the tractor's specific chassis/serial number. Order the 'Left Dashboard Control Panel' specific to your tractor's VIN through an authorized AGCO/Fendt parts dealer.
