Fendt 00.1.A8 – A007 - Instrument panel: B060 - Sensor, compressed air unit pressure

The system has detected that the air pressure in the primary braking/supply circuit has dropped below the safe operating threshold (below 4.6 bar), indicating 'Compressed air supply 1, vacuum'. As a safety measure, the 4WD is permanently activated until the next cold start.

   Connect a mechanical test gauge to the 'red' (supply) single-line pneumatic coupling at the rear of the tractor to verify actual pressure.

   Compare the mechanical gauge's reading with the bar indicator displayed on the A007 instrument panel.

   If the display matches the gauge but pressure is genuinely low (actual pressure fault): Check the entire compressed air system for leaks. If airtight, check the air compressor (a long fill time indicates wear).

   If the gauge shows good pressure but the dash shows low/no pressure (sensor/wiring fault): Check the 12V power supply from the A007 instrument panel to the B060 sensor and inspect the wiring harness for a signal fault, short, or open circuit.

   Depressurize the System

   Turn off the engine and safely bleed all compressed air from the tractor's air reservoirs to prevent injury.

   Locate the Sensor

   Locate the B060 compressed air supply sensor on the air unit valve block.

   Disconnect Wiring

   Carefully unplug the electrical connector from the sensor.

   Remove the Sensor

   Unscrew the faulty sensor from the pneumatic port.

   Install the New Sensor

   Thread the new sensor into the port. (Note: Do not overtighten; these typically use an M12 x 1.5 thread with an integrated seal).

   Reconnect and Test

   Reconnect the wiring harness. Start the tractor, allow the air compressor to fill the tanks, and verify that the instrument panel displays the correct pressure (above 4.6 bar) and that the 00.1.A8 fault code clears.
