Fendt 01.1.03 – A050 / A051: B055 - Rotary position sensor, combi-sensor - foot throttle pedal

"No concordance" or "No congruence." The B055 foot throttle sensor is a combi-sensor containing two redundant potentiometers. This code triggers when the signal from the foot throttle position sent to the basic control unit does not match the signal sent to the engine control unit.

   Check the wiring harness between the B055 combi-sensor and the A050/A051 ECUs. Specifically check the circuit from PIN 3 to PIN 6 on the combi-sensor for cable breaks or short circuits.

   Ensure the foot throttle pedal mechanism is not physically jammed, packed with debris, or damaged, which could prevent the rotary shaft from turning the potentiometers smoothly.

   If available, use the FENDIAS or SERDIA diagnostic software to monitor the live voltage signals of both potentiometers to identify which circuit (the A050 side or the A051 side) is dropping out or providing an implausible reading.

   Resolve Wiring Issues

   Repair any broken wires or clean any corroded pins at the B055 sensor connector.

   Replace the Sensor

   If the wiring is intact, the internal potentiometers of the B055 sensor have failed. Replace the B055 foot throttle rotary position sensor.

   Perform Calibration

   After replacing or adjusting the sensor, you must calibrate it so the A050 basic control unit can learn the new idle and full-throttle voltage values. Access the tractor's setting and calibration menu via the terminal, enter Calibration Code 4005, follow the on-screen prompts, and accept the position with the 'Return' key.

   Clear Faults

   Use the SERDIA diagnostic tool or the onboard terminal to clear the 01.1.03 fault code.

   Test Drive

   Restart the engine to verify that TMS functionality is restored and the pedal operates correctly without throwing the code.
