Fendt 01.1.30 – A077 - Immobiliser ECU: No ignition key taught in

The immobiliser system does not recognize the transponder chip inside the ignition key, resulting in the engine start being blocked.

   Verify that the operator is using the correct, original transponder key and not a generic, non-transponder cut key

   Check if the key is physically broken or if the transponder chip has fallen out of the key fob

   Ensure the B083 immobiliser control unit is properly connected (check separation point X1494 on the left side of the steering column under the panel)

   Look for other immobiliser codes (such as 01.1.34 or 01.1.36) that might indicate a hardware failure rather than a key issue

   Perform temporary quick fix if key is broken

   If the key blade snapped but you still have the plastic head containing the transponder, have a standard generic key cut. Tape the broken transponder head securely to the new generic key so the immobiliser ring will read the old transponder chip.

   Cut new OEM key

   Obtain a new, uncut OEM transponder key and have it mechanically cut to match the tractor's ignition cylinder.

   Connect diagnostic software

   Connect the FENDIAS or SERDIA diagnostic software to the tractor.

   Navigate to key teaching menu

   Navigate to the 'Setting and calibrating' menu and select the procedure for 'Teaching in the vehicle key'.

   Teach new key

   Follow the on-screen prompts to teach the new key's transponder data to the B083 immobiliser control unit and the A051 Engine Control Unit (EDC).

   Verify repair

   Cycle the ignition and verify that the engine starts and the 01.1.30 fault code is cleared.
