Fendt 01.1.38 – Immobiliser ECU (A077) / Immobiliser Control (B083): B083 - Immobiliser control: Performance curve not available.

The immobiliser control unit has lost its programming or cannot access the specific performance curve data required to authenticate with the engine control unit. Without this data, the immobiliser cannot verify the operating parameters, which can result in the tractor being immobilized or the engine cutting out.

   Check for accompanying codes such as 01.1.39 (Equipment data not available), 01.1.3B (Vehicle serial number mismatch between EDC and Immobiliser), or 01.1.36 (No immobilisation communication exchange with EDC).

   Verify the wiring and CAN bus connections between the Immobiliser ECU (A077/B083) and the Engine Control Unit (A051/A099) are intact.

   Verify if the immobiliser control is stuck in "ready for teach-in" mode (Fault 01.1.35), which would prevent the performance curve from being read.

   Connect diagnostic software

   Connect a laptop with the Fendt FenDias or SERDIA diagnostic software to the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Navigate to module settings

   Navigate to the Immobiliser (A077/B083) module settings.

   Perform new activation

   Perform a "New activation" of the immobiliser control unit.

   Execute EOL programming

   Execute "EOL programming" (End Of Line programming) to rewrite the missing performance curve and equipment data back into the Immobiliser ECU so it can successfully pair with the Engine Control Unit.

   Replace Immobiliser ECU if programming fails

   If the EOL programming fails to write or the module drops the data again after a power cycle, the A077 Immobiliser ECU has suffered an internal memory failure and must be replaced.

   Program new Immobiliser ECU

   If replaced, the new Immobiliser ECU must undergo EOL programming to sync the tractor's serial number and keys.
