Fendt 01.1.3E – A050 - ECU, basic control unit: B083 - Immobiliser control: A050 equipment features cannot be read.

The tractor's basic control unit is unable to read or verify the necessary equipment configuration data from the immobiliser system. As a built-in safety and anti-theft consequence, the tractor enters a restricted state: the speed governor is limited, and the 4WD will automatically engage when braking.

   Verify the operator is using a correctly taught-in transponder key

   Inspect the B083 Immobiliser control unit wiring (located inside the cab, left side of steering column). Check the 'X1494' connector for loose pins, moisture, or wiring damage

   Check CAN communication between the A050 (Basic ECU), A051/A099 (Engine Control Unit), and A077/B083 (Immobiliser) to ensure no serial number mismatch

   Access the Module

   Remove the panel on the left side of the steering column to access the B083 Immobiliser control unit.

   Replace if Necessary

   If the module is diagnosed as internally faulty, physically replace the A077/B083 unit.

   Software Activation

   Connect the tractor to the FENDIAS diagnostic software.

   EOL Programming

   Perform a 'New activation' and execute 'EOL (End of Line) programming' for the A050 basic control unit to restore the equipment features.

   Teach-in Procedure

   Successfully 'Teach in the vehicle key' and 'Teach in the B083 immobiliser control unit and/or A051 ECU' so that the immobiliser and engine control unit are synchronized with the correct performance curves and serial numbers.
