Fendt 04.1.07 – Transmission Control System / Basic Control Unit ECU (A050): B008 - High pressure sensor 1, transmission drive pressure.
Issue description
The system has detected a signal fault or a faulty sensor at the B008 high-pressure sensor. This can be caused by an internal sensor failure, a wiring issue, or a loss of the 8.5V or 12V power supply to the sensor. As a safety measure, the Tractor Management System (TMS) is switched off, operating range switching from 1 to 2 is disabled, and the transmission protection function becomes active (limiting engine power to 70%).

Check the cause
Inspect the B008 sensor and its electrical connector (separation point X157) for corrosion, damage, or loose pins
Check the A013 fuse block (commonly Fuse 3, Fuse 10, or Fuse 32 depending on the series) for a blown fuse causing an 8.5V or 12V supply fault
Use the Variotronic terminal or diagnostic tool to check for plausibility errors between the B008 sensor and the B039 sensor
Ensure the transmission fluid is at the correct level and the filters are clean to rule out pressure irregularities
Repair steps
Locate the Sensor
The B008 high-pressure sensor is typically located on the right side of the transmission, mounted on the valve block.
Gain Access
On many models (such as the 300 series), you will need to remove the right rear wheel and the protective metal panels to access the transmission valve block.
Remove the Faulty Sensor
Disconnect the electrical harness from the sensor. Unthread the sensor from the hydraulic manifold.
Install the New Sensor
Thread the new sensor into the port. Ensure that the sealing O-ring is replaced and seated correctly to prevent hydraulic leaks.
Reassemble
Reconnect the electrical harness, reinstall the metal panels, and remount the rear wheel.
Clear Codes and Calibrate
Clear the fault code 04.1.07 from the system. Run the transmission calibration procedure to ensure the new sensor is reading accurately.
