Fendt 04.1.85 – Transmission Control System / Transmission Load Limit Control: B010 - Sensor, engine speed (Engine speed Hall sensor 1)

The engine speed sensor does not supply plausible speed curves. The output speed increase or decrease is outside of acceptable limits.

   Verify the 12V power supply to the sensor and check associated fuses (specifically A013 fuse 4).

   Inspect the wiring harness and connector for the B010 sensor for any signs of a short circuit, open circuit, or corrosion.

   Ensure the Hall sensor is securely mounted and that the gap between the sensor and the impulse disk/gear wheel is correct and free of debris.

   Inspect the impulse disk for mechanical damage that could cause implausible speed curves.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on the electrical system.

   Locate the Sensor

   Locate the B010 Engine speed Hall sensor 1 on the engine/transmission housing.

   Inspect and Clean

   Disconnect the sensor plug. Clean the connector contacts and inspect for moisture or pin damage.

   Replace the Sensor

   If the wiring, fuses, and impulse disk are in good condition, the Hall sensor itself has likely failed internally. Remove the retaining bolt, pull out the old B010 sensor, and install the new one.

   Reassemble and Clear Codes

   Reconnect the wiring harness, reconnect the battery, and use a diagnostic terminal (FENDIAS) to clear the 04.1.85 fault code.

   Test Drive

   Run the tractor to ensure the transmission control system is receiving plausible speed curves and that the tractor exits emergency mode.
