   Check the ease of movement (smooth adjustment action) of the adjustment device using the emergency control system

   Inspect the mechanical connection of the A009 actuator unit to the actuator shaft to ensure it has not come loose or disconnected

   Verify the wiring harness and CAN bus connections to the A009 unit for a CAN-bus actuation fault or interrupted connections

   Ensure proper 12V DC voltage is reaching the A009 unit (normal draw is 0.4 A to 7 A)

   Access the Component

   Remove the right rear wheel and the protective metal panel to access the A009 actuator unit on the right side of the transmission.

   Disconnect Electrical Connections

   Disconnect the separation point (X037) on the actuator unit.

   Remove the Actuator Unit

   Unbolt and remove the A009 actuator unit from the transmission housing.

   Inspect the Actuator Shaft

   While the unit is removed, verify that the transmission's actuator shaft moves freely and is not mechanically bound.

   Install the New Unit

   Fit the replacement A009 actuator unit to the actuator shaft and secure it to the control housing.

6. 6

   Calibration / Reference Point Search

   Switch on the ignition so the new A009 actuator unit automatically searches for its initial reference point, then start the engine to locate the precise neutral reference point.

7. 7

   Clear Faults

   Clear the stored 04.1.A3 fault code using the tractor's diagnostic terminal (Variotronic Ti) or FENDIAS software.
