Fendt 04.1.E5 – A050 - ECU, basic control unit: Checksum error for range control, speed limiting valve etc. faulty

The control unit has detected corrupted or missing parameter data (a checksum mismatch) in its memory regarding the transmission's range control and speed limiting valve, resulting in range control not being possible.

   Connect the tractor to the official Fendt diagnostic software (FENDIAS).

   Access the A050 Basic Control Unit module.

   Perform EOL programming

   Perform EOL programming to re-flash the correct parameters for the range control and speed limiting valve back into the ECU.

   Clear codes and cycle ignition

   Clear the fault codes and cycle the ignition.

   Test functionality

   Test the tractor to ensure range control functionality has returned.

   Repair or replace ECU
