Check the cause

  1. Check for other faults: Ensure there are no other active transmission error codes displayed on the instrument panel. If other faults are present, they must be repaired first.

  2. Warm up the transmission: Heat the transmission oil to a working temperature of approximately 40°C (35 to 45°C) to ensure consistent and repeatable calibration.

  3. Secure the tractor: Park the tractor on a hard, level surface and apply the hand brake.

  4. Immobilize: The tractor must be completely stationary (speed below 0.01 km/h).

  5. Engine status: The engine must be started and running.

Repair steps

  1. Prepare tractor

Prepare the tractor according to the diagnostic checks listed above.

  2. Enter calibration code

Access the tractor's diagnostic/calibration menu and enter Calibration Code "4007" (Transmission ratio characteristic).

  3. Execute calibration

Follow the on-screen prompts to execute the calibration.

  4. Verify success

If the calibration completes successfully, the display will show "OK", indicating that the new sensor settings have been stored.

  5. Finalize data

To finalize and accept the data, turn the ignition key to position "0" (OFF).

  6. Wait

Wait for at least 15 seconds before switching the ignition back on.

  7. Troubleshoot error

If the display shows "ERROR", it means the preparatory conditions were not met or incorrect values were detected. If the error persists despite correct conditions, it may indicate a hardware failure in the transmission sensors, wiring, or the A050 ECU itself.
