Fendt 04.1.EF – A050 - ECU, basic control unit: A050 - ECU, basic control unit Turbo-clutch characteristic
Issue description
The fault indicates "No calibration or drifted, changed values" for the turbo-clutch characteristic. The ECU has lost the learned engagement parameters for the turbo-clutch function, or the stored values have drifted outside of the acceptable operational range.

Check the cause
Check for related fault code 04.1.64, which indicates a physical actuation fault, PWM supply failure, or blown fuse (F56) for the Y004 - Neutral/Turbo-clutch solenoid valve.
Verify the Y004 solenoid valve wiring harness is intact and that it is receiving a PWM signal from the A050 ECU.
Check transmission oil temperature to ensure it is up to normal operating temperature, as cold, thick oil can skew calibration characteristics.
Repair steps
Pull the handbrake tight
Caution: The tractor may start moving during this calibration.
Start the engine
Ensure the tractor is completely stationary
Speed must be less than 0.1 km/h.
Set the engine speed
Set to 1100 +/- 40 rpm using the hand throttle. Note: The engine speed may drop during the calibration process as the clutch engages.
Access the diagnostic/calibration menu
Access the tractor's diagnostic/calibration menu on the terminal.
Enter calibration code
Enter calibration code 4009.
Execute the calibration
Follow the on-screen prompts to execute the calibration. The A050 ECU will automatically modulate the Y004 solenoid valve to learn the engagement point.
Verify calibration success
If the calibration completes successfully, the new sensor settings are stored, and the fault code will move to historic/inactive status. If the calibration fails, you likely have a mechanical issue with the transmission high-pressure circuit or a failed Y004 solenoid valve.
