Fendt 05.1.62 – Enhanced Control: Y014 - 'Raise' suspension solenoid valve

12V control/actuation fault or supply fault to the Y014 'Raise' suspension solenoid valve. When logged, no further suspension functions are available, and the front axle suspension remains locked in its last position.

   Check the 8.5V/12V supply fuses, specifically the A013 fuse block (fuse 5 or fuse 18 depending on the model).

   Inspect the wiring harness for the 'Suspension' circuit for breaks, corrosion, or loose connections at the Y014 solenoid valve on the central control block (ZSB).

   Test the Y014 solenoid coil for proper resistance and verify if 12V is reaching the valve when the raise command is initiated.

   Bypass Electronic Controls

   Do not rely on the cab controls. The electronic 'Lock suspension/lower suspension' command has no effect during this fault. Externally energizing the Y013 or Y014 solenoid valves with a jumper wire is also ineffective because hydraulically unlockable non-return valves are fitted.

   Manually Release Pressure

   Screw in the knurled-head screw on the Y013 (lower suspension solenoid valve) to allow the chassis to lower. Screw in the knurled-head screw on the Y014 (raise suspension solenoid valve) to relieve the rebound accumulator. (Note: On some models, you may instead need to open the AVF1 and AVF2 lock valves to the left to lower the chassis and relieve the accumulator).

   Verify Pressure Release

   Listen closely; as the oil temperature rises, the emptying accumulator will make a distinct flowing sound (though this may be barely audible in winter).

   Replace the Component

   Once the system is fully depressurized, remove the faulty Y014 solenoid valve coil or cartridge from the central control block and install the replacement.

   Restore and Test

   Back out the knurled screws (or close the AVF valves), clear the fault codes via the terminal/SERDIA diagnostic software, and test the suspension raise/lower functions.
