   Inspect the Rear PTO Neutral button on the armrest for physical damage, sticking, or debris lodged around the edges.

   Acknowledge and clear the fault code using the tractor's terminal, then cycle the key to see if the code returns immediately (indicating a hard electrical failure or lost programming) or only when the button is pressed (indicating a faulty switch contact).

   Test the 160-pin adapter box connections at the A039 MFA to ensure there is no corrosion or loose pins causing intermittent signal drops to the A050 ECU.

   Connect the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to check the live state of the Rear PTO Neutral button. Look for an 'Unconfigured' status or a checksum error, which indicates the module requires reprogramming.

   Clean/Free the Switch

   If the button is physically sticking, use a plastic trim tool and electrical contact cleaner to free the switch mechanism.

   EOL Programming

   Connect the FENDIAS tool, navigate to the A039 MFA module, and perform the End-Of-Line (EOL) programming routine to restore the button's parameters.

   Component Replacement

   If EOL programming fails or the button has a hard internal short, the switch unit (or the entire MFA top-board, depending on the specific model's parts breakdown) must be replaced.

   Post-Repair Calibration

   After replacing the armrest or switch, you must use FENDIAS to configure the new A039 module to the tractor's specific options and clear all stored 06.1.xx codes.
