Fendt 06.1.E0 – A002 - ECU, enhanced control / A050 - ECU, basic control unit: Checksum error, parameter current control for speed selector.

The ECU has detected a memory checksum mismatch or corruption in the EEPROM parameters specifically related to the current control for the PTO/transmission speed selector. This typically results in restricted operating possibilities or the inability to engage specific PTO speeds.

   Attempt to clear the fault code using the tractor's terminal or via FENDIAS diagnostic software. If the code returns immediately, the EEPROM data is corrupted.

   Check for accompanying CAN bus communication faults (e.g., 00.0.01, 00.0.15, 00.0.16). If present, check power supply (KL30, KL15) and ground (KL31) to the ECU, and the A013 fuse board.

   Verify ECU load values using FENDIAS. Erratic load values or failure to communicate indicates a severely corrupted or failing ECU.

   Connect Diagnostic Equipment

   Connect the AGCO 2x4 CANUSB Diagnostic Tool to the tractor's G and K bus diagnostic ports.

   Launch FENDIAS

   Open the Fendt FENDIAS diagnostic software (EOL programming module).

   Perform EOL Programming

   Run a new EOL (End of Line) programming sequence for the A002/A050 ECU to rewrite the corrupted parameters.

   Reset the System

   Once the software indicates the devices have been switched into bootloader mode and programming is successful, turn the ignition "OFF", wait 15 seconds, and turn the ignition "ON".

   Test Operation

   Verify that the fault code is cleared and that the speed selector functions normally.

   ECU Replacement (If Necessary)

   If the EOL programming fails, or if the ECU's flash memory is physically damaged and cannot retain the new parameters, the A002/A050 control unit must be replaced and subsequently programmed to the tractor.
