Checksum error regarding the masks for showing/hiding diagnostics on the front and rear PTOs. The ECU detects corrupted or missing parameter data for the PTO diagnostic display, causing the system to automatically revert to using default values to maintain basic functionality.

   Verify PTO Functionality: Check if the front and rear PTOs can still be engaged and operated normally, as the tractor defaults to standard values when this code is thrown.

   Check for Accompanying Codes: Look for other EEPROM or RAM errors associated with the A050 module (such as 08.1.A1 or 01.1.06), which would indicate a widespread memory failure within the ECU rather than a single corrupted parameter.

   Diagnostic Tool Connection: Connect the FENDIAS diagnostic interface to verify communication with the A050 Basic Control Unit.

   Connect FENDIAS

   Hook up the official Fendt diagnostic tool (FENDIAS) to the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Perform EOL Programming

   Perform EOL (End of Line) programming to re-flash the basic control unit and rewrite the correct checksums and parameters for the PTO diagnostic masks.

   Clear Codes and Test

   After EOL programming is complete, clear the fault codes and cycle the tractor's key. Engage the front and rear PTOs to ensure the code does not return.

   ECU Repair/Replacement

   If the A050 unit refuses to accept EOL programming or repeatedly drops its memory (EEPROM failure), the physical ECU must be removed. It can either be sent to an agricultural electronics specialist for board-level repair or replaced entirely.
