Fendt 07.1.C1 – Transmission Control System: B015 - Sensor, bevel pinion
Issue description
The switch-on speed was not reached for the PTO/power lift auto mode. The B015 sensor signal failed or dropped out, preventing the tractor's computer from verifying the ground speed required to safely engage automated PTO and linkage functions.

Check the cause
Check the 8.5V power supply to the B015 sensor at the A013 fuse board (specifically fuses like Fuse 7 or Fuse 8) to ensure the circuit has not blown.
Inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to the B015 sensor on the transmission housing for chafed wires, moisture ingress, or loose pins.
Check the terminal for accompanying plausibility fault codes like 04.1.82 or 04.1.83. If present, this points to a shared wiring fault or mechanical transmission slippage rather than a single failed sensor.
Test the sensor using a multimeter to verify its resistance and ensure it is outputting a signal when the tractor is in motion.
Repair steps
Preparation
Park the tractor on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.
Locate the Sensor
Locate the B015 bevel pinion speed sensor on the transmission housing (usually near the 4WD clutch housing or lower transmission block).
Removal
Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor, remove the retaining screw holding the sensor flange in place, and carefully pry off the flange/sensor using an assembly lever, taking care not to drop debris into the transmission housing.
Installation
Lubricate the O-ring on the new sensor with clean transmission oil, insert the new sensor into the port, secure the retaining screw, and reconnect the electrical harness.
Calibration & Testing
Reconnect the battery, clear the stored 07.1.C1 fault code via the Variotronic terminal, and test drive the tractor to ensure the speedometer works correctly and that the PTO/power lift auto modes engage properly.
