Fendt 08.1.32 – Rear EPC: B032 - Sensor, left draught sensing pin (or draft sensing pin, left)

The fault indicates that the left draft sensing pin is faulty, the signal is corrupt, there is a short circuit, or there is a signal line fault. Consequently, the tractor will experience reduced control performance, draft control is disabled, and only position control of the rear power lift is possible.

   Relieve the left draft sensing pin of any physical load to see if the warning clears or if it is a mechanical binding issue.

   Verify the voltage supply to the sensor. Depending on the tractor model, the sensor requires an 8.5 V supply from A013 or a 9.5 V supply from A005.

   Inspect the fuse associated with the A013 supply (Fuse 13, 14, or 15 depending on the specific Vario model).

   Check the circuit diagram for the 'Electrohydraulic lifting gear control' (Rear EPC). Inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to sensor B032 for signal line faults, corrosion, or short circuits.

   Relieve tension

   Lower the rear power lift completely and ensure there is no implement attached to relieve all tension on the draft sensing pins.

   Locate sensor

   Locate the left draft sensing pin (B032) on the rear three-point linkage.

   Inspect wiring and connector

   Inspect the wiring harness and connector at the pin. Clean the contacts and check for any visible wire breaks or shorts to ground.

   Test supply voltage

   Using a multimeter, test the supply voltage at the connector to ensure the 8.5V/9.5V supply is reaching the sensor.

   Diagnose internal failure

   If the wiring, fuses, and voltage supply are all intact but the signal remains corrupt, the internal sensor of the draft pin has failed.

   Remove faulty pin

   Remove the retaining hardware securing the left draft sensing pin and extract the faulty pin.

   Install new pin

   Install the new draft sensing pin, secure the hardware, and reconnect the electrical harness.

   Clear codes and test

   Clear the fault codes via the tractor's terminal and test the rear power lift to ensure draft control functionality has returned.
